# Limitation of Scanning the Same Barcode

**The same barcode can be scanned only one time during the same season.**

* Barcode scanning is limited to once per season for all players. If the new season begins, the same barcode can be scanned once more.
* If the error message appears (<img src="/files/IWwwhle8lqStadP8ZPO0" alt="" data-size="line">), someone else has already scanned the barcode.
