# Step 1: Scan Barcode & Collect NFTs

For this step,\
**Enjoy scanning barcodes around you, and collect NFTs.**<br>

1. **Scan barcodes and collect NFTs**\
   To begin, tap the SCAN tab(<img src="/files/SmGkEd39YkYlykW8YqWP" alt="" data-size="line">) followed by the SCAN button (<img src="/files/v7eaAyEi1iLuTqQ7nfi2" alt="" data-size="line">). Then you can scan barcodes!\
   After scanning a barcode, click the ADD button (<img src="/files/9sUqwFnobTpS9S7MlpCC" alt="" data-size="line">) to get a NFT(<img src="/files/HEgdUapbz1IFKcGk6Zy6" alt="" data-size="line">).\
   Enjoy scanning barcodes around you!

2. **Check the NFTs you get**\
   Navigate to the MY HEROES tab (<img src="/files/714R2Wd4ps1Tpf2TUy2t" alt="" data-size="line">). \
   Initially, the HERO category is selected (<img src="/files/g2Py2SbKIucRNaQ08K2T" alt="" data-size="line">), and nothing is shown because you haven't created your Heroes yet (You can learn how to create your Hero in step 2).\
   When the PARTS category is selected (<img src="/files/JknrEmAcoIvABIs5U5qI" alt="" data-size="line">), the NFTs you have acquired are shown (<img src="/files/6q23jpgCztDvF5ZgheAh" alt="" data-size="line">).
