# Step 3: Join the Battle Events

For this step,\
**Join the ongoing battles with your Heroes and strive for the top positions!**

1. **Select a battle you want to join**\
   Tap the BATTLE tab (<img src="/files/NAzrYvs6icfQeKoSLsXp" alt="" data-size="line">) and then select an ongoing battle (<img src="/files/qFtqQK9dU9hrWZC42zVw" alt="" data-size="line">). Ongoing battles are marked with red text that says 'now accepting'.\
   Then click the ENTRY button (<img src="/files/snSrt8H80KwXA28WjJIr" alt="" data-size="line">).\
   \&#xNAN;*\*note: Participation in the battle is confirmed only after selecting a Hero, not by clicking the ENTRY button alone.*

2. **Choose a Hero to join the battle**\
   Select the Hero that join the battle (<img src="/files/oLu0aVLZsRohgGuvbnsi" alt="" data-size="line">), and finally click OK button to confirm (<img src="/files/FIuwgKur8FD9tCuC9sdl" alt="" data-size="line">).\
   Click the RANKING button (<img src="/files/kVZKFAOpBmHhxgOL59WO" alt="" data-size="line">) to view the ranking of the top leaders (<img src="/files/vTDlOFKvoGhPKpyEshcS" alt="" data-size="line">) and see your position in the battle (<img src="/files/cliY5Rd3hi98NpFc9Rco" alt="" data-size="line">).

   In the MY HEROES tab (<img src="/files/2D2860XXBcD2ZDSiWlm0" alt="" data-size="line">), Heroes that have entered battles are marked as 'Entered' (<img src="/files/f4f6LjCpf38j777bID8i" alt="" data-size="line">). \
   \&#xNAN;*\*note: Once a Hero has participated in a battle in Story 1, it becomes available for action in Story 2 and subsequent chapters, and cannot be used in another battle within Story 1.*

3. **Optional: Change your Heroes to attain a higher rank**\
   If you want to attain a higher rank, you can switch your Heroes. To do so, navigate to the battle page and click the ENTRY button (<img src="/files/OVxq7TdCVscnnP5M3MTt" alt="" data-size="line">-><img src="/files/j3mX4EmDMJo01FNl02YY" alt="" data-size="line">-><img src="/files/ojeEYwz6ybK27OlXTqpb" alt="" data-size="line">).<br>

   Click the CHANGE CHARACTER button (<img src="/files/mkARplbVUofKDvPmfxpG" alt="" data-size="line">), and then select a different Hero (<img src="/files/9p0ZrmMB1dM169q612DC" alt="" data-size="line">, <img src="/files/RqHVrouaEoIj8LYlvvCY" alt="" data-size="line">).

4. **Ranking Confirmed**\
   Shortly after the battle period ends, the rankings are confirmed.\
   Congratulations those who have won the battle!<br>
