# Step 3: Join the Battle Events For this step,\ **Join the ongoing battles with your Heroes and strive for the top positions!** 1. **Select a battle you want to join**\ Tap the BATTLE tab () and then select an ongoing battle (). Ongoing battles are marked with red text that says 'now accepting'.\ Then click the ENTRY button ().\ \&#xNAN;*\*note: Participation in the battle is confirmed only after selecting a Hero, not by clicking the ENTRY button alone.*

2. **Choose a Hero to join the battle**\ Select the Hero that join the battle (), and finally click OK button to confirm ().\ Click the RANKING button () to view the ranking of the top leaders () and see your position in the battle ().

\ \ In the MY HEROES tab (), Heroes that have entered battles are marked as 'Entered' (). \ \&#xNAN;*\*note: Once a Hero has participated in a battle in Story 1, it becomes available for action in Story 2 and subsequent chapters, and cannot be used in another battle within Story 1.*

3. **Optional: Change your Heroes to attain a higher rank**\ If you want to attain a higher rank, you can switch your Heroes. To do so, navigate to the battle page and click the ENTRY button (->->).

\ Click the CHANGE CHARACTER button (), and then select a different Hero (, ).

You have the option to change your Heroes multiple times during the battle period.


4. **Ranking Confirmed**\ Shortly after the battle period ends, the rankings are confirmed.\ Congratulations those who have won the battle!
